Let it snow !
This is our 2nd real snow fall this winter and it was nice to see everything covered in fresh snow making everything look so clean and fresh. We had a good time outside playing on the jungle gym and making snow cakes as Kaylee called them. Below is our snowman we made and also I am including some videos of their first time ice-skating. Now all Kaylee wants to do is ice-skate like Barbie (Princess Annaliese).
November has gone so fast and I can't believe we are in December already. We have been away from the blogging world this past month due to a lot things. As you can see I have shared some of our great highlights of this last month. Ashlee and Jesiah had great birthdays, it was a jungle theme and the kids had a blast. Thanksgiving was fun and relaxing and as I shared in the pictures I made my first 2 1/2 pound chocolate cheesecake. That was Paul's request and let me tell you what trying to whip 2 1/2 pounds of cream cheese is not the easiest task. Ha ha Our guests were Tim and Christina. They visited before heading to America and it was great seeing them and seeing their excitement about their upcoming little baby. God really blessed us this past month and we truly had so much to be thankful for. We are so rich and it's all do to God. I want to also thank all of you who prayed for me and my family during surgery and post surgery time. Praise God I am back to normal everything healed great and with no side effects. Our Family Day
So, fall is almost over which is a very sad thing for me because that means winter and snow is just around the corner. I have come to love the seasons, Fall of course being one of my favorites. I love seeing the colors of the trees changing, the time in my home baking with my girls making fun memories. On Friday as a family we made another great memory. We went to gather walnuts from the church back yard. We gathered a whole basket full then cracked them open with hammers and rocks and then came home to make roasted walnuts. It was a great day and something the kids really enjoyed. It's the simple things in life that I have really come to appreciate.
